Tamiya is simply the best when it comes to rc cars and trucks. The detailed instruction manuals makes it easy for beginners to assemble. Officially licensed bodies of Subaru, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Datsun, VW, Ford, Toyota, Mercedes, Honda, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Nissan, BMW, Mazda, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Porsche, Tyrell, Lotus and Lexus add to the realism. If you are looking for on-road, I would recommend you choose the Tamiya TA05 or TA06 platform. These offer you the best value for money. But if on a really tight budget, there is the entry level TT01 chassis. And if you want something already assembled, there is the XB (Expert Built) series of models to choose from. Also popular are the Tamiya F104 Formula One and Tamiya M-chassis models. And for fans of front wheel drive (fwd) models, there is the Tamiya FF03.
