In the USA, popular are gas 1/4th scale Nascar and sprint cars. As well as the 1/5 HPI Baja and the newest 1/5 Losi gas rc truck. Whilst in Europe, popular are the large scale touring and Formula 1 gasoline powered r/c cars.

Not to be confused with nitro rc cars, these are large scale models that run on regular gasoline. Each tank will provide long run times of up to 30 minutes.
